  RULES - NUMBERS & NUMBER PLATES

  1. All dirt bikes must have number plates securely mounted on front and both sides, upright, clearly visible and legible when in a riding position.  Your MMS number in plain block numbers with appropriate color combination must be used.  Fluorescent numbers and or back grounds, fancy designs, outlines and or shading of numbers are not allowed.
  2. All three digit numbers must be 6” tall.  Single or two digit numbers may be 6” or 8” tall.  50cc and 65cc classes only; numbers must be at least 3” tall.  Numbers may not touch. 
  3. All riders are required to have their MMS numbers on the back of their chest protector or jersey in a contrasting color and easily readable font.
  4. Novice plates are black with white numbers, 50cc plates may be black with white #s or white with black #s.
  5. Amateur plates are yellow with black numbers.
  6. All expert (including youth) plates are white with black numbers.  (125 Experts may use black backgrounds with white numbers if they are using their national number).
  7. All riders’ numbers must be the same on bike and back.
  8. It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure scorers can easily read his or her rider number.
  9. All 125 Youth riders must have a “Y” on the right side of their number plates.
  10. Non matching plate numbers and chest protector/jersey numbers, incorrect backgrounds and or numbers or no numbers will result in no score for that race.
  11. X-riders; Xs will be provided by the MMS at the time of your registration.
