1.
Three
strike rule:
Any one rule, policy or combination of rules or
policies broken will result in consequences.
2.
First
offence: verbal warning and consequence listed. If
no consequence is listed, then the consequence will
be at the referee’s discretion.
3.
Second
offence: verbal and written warning and consequence
listed. If no consequence is listed then the
consequence will be at the referee's discretion.
4.
Third
offence: Disqualification for the day.
5.
If there
should be another offence after the third the rider
will be suspended from the MMS for no less than one
month and no more than one year.
i.
Infractions must be observed by a MMS track official
or employee for a consequence to be issued,
otherwise the offender will receive a verbal
warning.
6.
Any
rider competing during their disqualification or
suspension periods shall be suspended for one
additional year.
7.
If a
non-safety violation is issued the first offense
will be a warning, on the second offense the rider
will be docked one lap. The third offense will be
disqualification for the class, unless otherwise
stated.
8.
If a
safety violation is issued a rider will not be
allowed to race unless the safety violation is
corrected. A safety violation is defined as
anything that will endanger the rider themselves and
or other riders.
9.
Unless
penalties are otherwise expressly provided for in
these rules for competition, the referee may
disqualify any rider or suspend him or her from the
remainder of the meet for violation of the rules for
competition. Insubordination or any other conduct
detrimental to the race is up to the referee.
10.
Unless
penalties are otherwise provided for in these rules,
MMS may suspend any rider for any period up to
indefinite suspension for willful violation of these
rules for competition. |
